The Charity has 12 Trustees

There has been a recent amendment to the composition of Trustees appointed by the respective nominating bodies as follows:

• 2 nominees to be appointed from Chippenham Town Council (both can be currently serving Councillors)

• 2 nominees to be appointed from Wiltshire Council (both can be currently serving Councillors)

• 1 nominee to be appointed from Burgesses Guild 

• 1 nominee to be appointed by the Citizens Advice Bureau

• 4 Co-opted

• 2 nominees from local community organisations (Chippenham Churches and  Chamber of Commerce)

Although the Trustees are nominated by these bodies, they do not have any responsibility to these bodies, nor do they report back to them.  Their responsibility is to the Charity Commission.

Trustees are not paid for their work.  They are people with good knowledge of Chippenham and its inhabitants.
