At their monthly meeting on Monday 12th August, the Trustees of Chippenham Borough Lands Charity made awards totalling £32,365.90 as follows:

• A total of £8066.90 was awarded to 8 residents for welfare/educational purposes and mobility aids.
• A total of £7484 was awarded to Sheldon School Learning Support Unit towards a Breakfast Club; St Mary's RC School for a project on Ancient Egyptians and Tudors; Hardenhuish School for Staging and Charter School for a Family Day.
• A total of £16815 was awarded to local community groups including The Rise Trust for salary costs and Relate Wilts Ltd for counselling services at Abbeyfield School.
