In the last 30+ years, we have invested over £9 million through welfare, education, and community grants to support residents and enrich town life. We provide welfare and education grants to Chippenham residents, as well as community grants to voluntary groups and organisations that enrich life in our town.

CBLC stewards over 70 acres of green spaces in Chippenham, including Mortimores Wood (an ancient woodland) and Baydons Meadow (a wildflower meadow), offering community access and enjoyment of these natural havens. Recent environmental and recreational initiatives include extensive tree plantings, a sculpture trail, and walking paths across our land at Westmead Open Space. Additionally, Westmead Playing Field is home to our state-of-the-art climbing facility, The Arc, alongside a skatepark and play area.

We are an enabler of positive community action providing facilities for other charities, such as community centres (Pewsham Community Centre & Kingsley Road Community Hall) and through our various networking meetings, events and training opportunities. We also run a community website called One Chippenham. Together, we are fostering a more vibrant, inclusive, and collaborative future for Chippenham.
