We bid farewell today to our CEO, Phil Tansley, who leaves Chippenham Borough Lands Charity after 9 years to pursue new opportunities.
During his tenure, Phil has championed several unprecedented projects for the charity, notably spearheading the creation of The Arc – an innovative climbing centre, skatepark and play area that has become a hub for local families. He has also been at the heart of transforming and managing our Westmead Open Space into a popular and welcoming amenity which came into its own during the lockdown period of the pandemic, and has remained a local favourite destination.
Phil’s departure marks the end of an era for our charity. The CBLC team of Staff and Trustees would like to thank him for what he has done and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
